Mildred Spain Arnold

Mildred Spain Arnold, 88, formerly of Petersburg, VA and most recently a resident of Sunflower Gardens, passed away on February 26, 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Epps Spain and Elizabeth Talmage Spain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Remmie L. Arnold, Jr., and sisters, Miriam Michal and Lillian Hunter.
Millie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother - devoted to her family and her grand-dogs. She was a true Southern lady – kind, gracious, and her smile brightened a room like sunshine.
She is survived by her children, Remmie L. Arnold, III (Janet), Alexa A. Ricketts (Keith), and Stacey A. Jani; and her grandchildren, Lee, John, and Rob Arnold.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Blandford Cemetery.
