Mildred I. DeWolfe, 88, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in the Chippenham Hospital. She was a life-long resident of this area and a member of the Hopewell Church of the Brethren. Mrs. DeWolfe was preceded in death by her parents James and Lula Mason Craven, her husband William A. DeWolfe, two sisters Ethel Jones and Betty Adams and three brothers Earl, James and Eugene Craven. Surviving are her son Billy Rook and wife Mary Lou of Helena, MT., and her daughter Nancy Ingalsbe and husband Terry of Herndon, sister Nancy Stacy of Chester, two grandchildren Bo Ingalsbe of Herndon and Boo Rook and wife Nicky of Helena, MT., four great grandchildren and five step grandchildren, niece Judy Cutrona and family of Prince George and nephew Scott Stacy and wife Bobbie and family of Chester, and many dear friends from her neighborhood, Colonial Heights American Legion and the Colonial Heights Loyal Order of Moose. The family will receive friends Friday, May 21, 2010 from 7-8:30 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester with Rev. Wayne Pennington, pastor of the Church of The Brethren, officiating.
