Mildred Bogle Dunbar

Mildred Bogle Dunbar, 95, of N. Prince George, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Born in Bland County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Leola Bogle Hammond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anson Dunbar, Sr.; sons, Anson Dunbar, Jr., Robert Dunbar Sr., and Carl Dunbar; daughters, Joan Kwosek and Margie Dowd; grandchildren, Amy, Renee’, Robert Jr., and Peggy.
She is survived by her sons, William Dunbar (Barbara) and David Dunbar (Ora); daughters, Dolores Dunbar, Linda Marsh (Robert), and Patricia Creech; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Clements (Julian); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mildred was the proud owner and operator of Mildred’s Country Kitchen Restaurant. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday February 22, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Appomattox Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Prince George Emergency Crew.
