Mildred Irvine

Mildred T. Irvine, 82 of Homosassa, Florida died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Cypress Cove Care Center in Crystal River, Fla. She was born April 10, 1923 to Fran Orby and Ruth (Kirkham) Tate in Petersburg and came to this area 3 months ago from Seneca, SC. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. She was an Educator of English Literature to the Senior Class at Petersburg High School in Petersburg retiring after 13 years. She was a past member of the Petersburg Garden Club and Womens Club. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Frank O. Irvine of Homosassa, Fla; two sons, Dr. David L. Irvine (Melanie) of Homosassa and F. Owen Irvine (Melinda) of Gulfport, Fla; one sister, Helen Johnson, Chester, VA and five granddaughters. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, November 7, 2005 at Blandford Cemetery.
