Mildred Lewallen

Mildred Louise Lewallen, 81, of Hopewell, died Saturday September 25, 2004 at Brighter Living Assisted Living. She was the daughter of the late William F. and Mary Ann Richardson, and was predeceased by her loving husband Leon Carl Lewallen. She was a retired machine operator from A.J.D. Cap Manufacturing Co. of Richmond, Virginia. She is survived by a dedicated and loving daughter Judith Faye Wood of Hopewell; three grandchildren, Robert Edward Wood, Nicole W. Vernon, Pam W. Boykin; three great grandchildren, Samantha Dawn Schutt, Brittany Lee Wood, and Nadia Faye Everett. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, with the Rev. Walter Simms of South Hopewell Church of God officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 .
