Mildred Catherine Meadows

Mildred Catherine Meadows, age 94, of Hopewell, VA, left this world to join her husband, John C. (Red) Meadows, in Heaven on August 5, 2018.
This beautiful wife, mother and grandmother was an artist in every way … as a hair dresser, gardener, painter, seamstress, and cook. She was simply the best.
She is survived by her children, Alice Keifer (Lonnie), Mitchell Carterette (Frankie), Donald Carterette, Lynn Wheeler (Gary), John Meadows, Jr. (Kathy) and Debbye Mahan; as well as MANY loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Appomattox Cemetery in Hopewell, VA on Friday, August 10th at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell or to your local SPCA.
