Mildred Pauline Peterson

Mildred Pauline Peterson, 90, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bessie Englehart; her sisters, Alease, Helen Viola Butler, and Annamae Posenau; her brother, William "Billy" Englehart; and her great nephews, Adam Ray Butler and Phillip Randall Butler, Jr.

Mildred loved listening to country music and enjoyed playing bingo. Most of all however, she loved her family, and her greatest joy in life was her nieces and nephews and their children, whom she affectionately referred to as her "grandkids." She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Mildred is survived by her brother, Lewis Englehart; niece, Phyllis Mae Hicks (Alvin); nephew, James Louis Butler, Sr.; great nieces, Tammy Lynn Craig (Tony) and her children, Kaleb and Tony Craig (Emily) and Kimberly Gail Cannada (Chad) and her children Landyn, Graysin, and McKynlee Cannada; great nephews, James Louis Butler, Jr. (Cindy), Jimmy Neal Hicks (Christen) and his children, Kayden, Preston, and Tatiana Hicks, and Bryan Matthew Butler (Leilani) and his children, Nicolai, Nathaniel, and Kailani Butler. Mildred is also survived by the children of her late nephew Phillip Randall Butler, Jr. - Phillip, Hunter, Ayden, and Shania Butler; one great-great-great nephew, Greyson Craig; special friend and former spouse of James Butler, Sr., Vickie Butler; and numerous cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10 AM at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Avenue, Petersburg. Online condolences may be registered to the family at www.jtmorriss.com .
