Mildred Skroback

Mildred Temple Skroback, 84 of Hopewell, died Friday, July 9, 2010. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, George B. and Elizabeth Koren Temple, three sisters, Ruth T. Clegg, Irene T. Oleyar, Pauline T. Ellis and her husband, Benjamin S. Skroback, Sr. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and a full time homemaker. Mildred will be meeting her husband of 58 years in heaven, which will no doubt be a spirited reunion. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved to spoil her family with her true down home cooking. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Mildred is survived by a son, Benjamin S. Skroback, Jr., of Chester, a daughter Cheryl Ann Skroback of Hopewell, a granddaughter, Desiree Ann Wolff of Maitland, FL. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. with the Rev.
