Mildred Traylor

Mildred S. Traylor, 72, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Henry Richard and Elizabeth Falk Smelley. Mildred was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Petersburg. She is survived by her loving husband, Gene Traylor; sons, David Traylor and wife, Gayla, Keith Traylor and wife, Donna; sisters, Catherine Fisher, Jean S. Hannon and husband, Richard; granddaughters, Rheannan Traylor, Regina Smith and husband, Brian; great-grandson, Logan Patterson; step-grandchildren, Fred Williams, Jamie Plott and husband, Mike; step-great-granddaughter, Kaylie Jade Plott; nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1st at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.
