Mildred Cecelia Weaver

Mildred Cecelia Weaver, 86, of Chester, VA passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Born in Staten Island, NY, she was preceded in death by her parents, George B. Silva and Mildred Cecelia Silva; her husband, Manning Weaver; and three brothers, John Silva, Sonny Silva and Philly Silva. She was an animal lover who enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening and working in her yard. Mildred loved to sing and dance with the pianist at Harmony. During her time at Harmony, she also enjoyed helping new residents get to know the facility. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her daughter, Cecelia W. Freeland and husband, Tyler; two grandsons, Travis and Larry Lipscomb; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Silva; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Chester Christian Church. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
