Milford Bruce Turner

Milford "Bruce" Turner, 62, of Chesterfield, VA, went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Dills Turner, and his father, Robert Milford Turner. Bruce is survived by his sister, Barbara Turner Cooley; his brothers, John Kevin Turner and James Russell Turner (Dawn); his nieces, Nicole Crowder (Joe), Christina Odom (Garrett), and Kota Maner (Matthew); his nephews, Daniel Cade and James Samuel Turner; several great-nephews and nieces; his aunts, Millie Paulett, Rose Turner, and Evelyn Kidd; and numerous cousins who were deeply treasured.
Bruce was a lifelong carpenter. As a tremendously skilled master craftsman, he helped to build homes in Virginia and North Carolina. Bruce was an avid hunter, and a deep and voracious student of history. His intelligence and wit were treasured by those close to him, as a conversation with him could be just as educational as it was hilarious. He valued family, heritage, and integrity, and he will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
