Millard Edwards

Millard Francis Edwards, age 72, died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Colonial Heights Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Homer Edwards and Mary Janosik Edwards, two brothers and a sister. He is survived by Nancy C. Edwards, his daughter, Lisa E. Tharp and Wesley C. Campbell, his grandson and granddaughter, Christian E. Tharp and Elizabeth A. Tharp. Mr. Edwards retired from Honeywell in 1995 after 35 years of service and from 1996 to 2008 worked at Ukrops. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 31st at St. James Catholic Church in Hopewell with The Reverend Frank Wiggins, celebrant. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. A Christian Wake will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the church followed by visitation with the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 102 N. 5th Avenue, Hopewell, VA 23860. Services are under the direction of the Hopewell Chapel of J. T.
