Minnie Dawson

Minnie Lorene Carnes Dawson, 81 of Lucy Corr Village died Sunday, June 6, 2004. She was the widow of James William Dawson. She is survived by three daughters, Annye D. Gravitt (Moring), Barbara Estes (Wayne) both of Chester, Betty Jean Spiers (Richard) of Richmond; four sons, C.W. Dawson (Nan), J.C. Dawson (Susan) both of Kenbridge, Thomas Wayne Dawson (Gwyn) of Amelia and Ron Dawson of Richmond; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Polly Wilson (Bernard) of Chase City; three brothers, Fred Carnes of Chase City, W.S. Carnes and Neal Carnes (Annie) both of Richmond. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Dale Memorial Park.
