Minnie Bell Gutridge

Minnie Bell Gutridge, 94, died on April 9, 2024. She was born in Hopewell, VA, to the late Emmet and Mabel Fowler. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Jack Gutridge; her daughter, Beth Goode; and her brother, Emmet Fowler. She was a devoted member of West End Presbyterian for the past 50 years of her life and had been a vibrant and active member of her community until her passing. She is survived by her son, Bruce Gutridge (Janet); her son-in-law, Henry Goode; her grandchildren, Bridget Mitchem, Susan Estep, and Rusty Goode; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. A graveside service will follow on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2 p.m., at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
