Mollie Nugent Archer

Mollie Nugent Archer, 88, of Disputanta, VA, died Sunday, September 26, 2021. Born in Prince George County, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. Nugent, Sr. and Doris Brock Nugent. Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Walter E. Archer, Sr.; siblings, Harry Nugent, Manley Nugent, Francis Carraway. She is survived by her sons, Walter Archer, Jr. (Dale), Larry Archer (Judy), Matthew Archer (Stacy); grandchildren, Buck, Joey, Mandy, Candice, Crystal; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and special friends, the Kennedy family. She was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 1, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
