Mona Moody

Mona Gay Moody, Devoted Mother, 57, of Petersburg, widow of Colin D. Moody, died Saturday, March 6, 2004 at her home. She was born in Petersburg and was the daughter of the late Ralph Bowling and Elsie Virginia Rose Rowland. She is survived by three sons, Colin D. Moody, Jr., Steven W. Moody and Jody F. Moody; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia R. and Robert Miller, Jr.; two grandsons, Robert Miller III and Brandon M. Daniels; two sisters, Wanda Kay Wilder and Barbara Fay Strum; and three nephews, Berry Wilson, Kenneth Thayer and Billy Thayer; and many beloved friends and family. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Swisher officiating. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
