Morton Rudnick

Morton Rudnick, 59, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Seymour Rudnick and the late Lillian Johnson Rudnick. Since playing varsity basketball for Petersburg High School, he continued to be involved with youth athletics by coaching and officiating. In addition to his father, Mr. Rudnick is survived by his daughter, Lauren Rudnick; sister, Helene Rudnick Smith and husband, Stanley; niece, Natalie Morrozoff and husband, Kevin; nephew, Brian Smith; his good friend, Diane Gilkerson; and his best friend, Jimmy Jacobs. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday, August 20, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 1 PM Monday at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at Temple Brith Achim, Petersburg.
