Mrs. Otis Browning Hines, age 98, a resident of Wakefield VA died Nov. 27, 2008. Born on Nov. 21, 1910 in Prince George County she was the daughter of the late Gordon L. & Jessie Aldridge Browning. She was a retired bookkeeper for Southside Motor Company in Wakefield and was widow of Philip A. Hines JR.
She is survived by a niece, Sharon Browning; a nephew Dr. H. O. â??Bertâ? Browning, JR, both of Richmond and three great nieces.
A graveside funeral service will be held in Wakefield Cemetery at 2:00 PM on thursday December 4, 2008 officiated by the Rev. Jim Kerr. The Purviance Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield is handling arrangements.
