Myrna Trent Eley

Myrna Trent Eley, 86, of N. Dinwiddie, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, George S. and Mildred Rine Trent; brother, Gary Trent; and sister, Patricia Trent Kitchen. She was a member of Kenwood United Methodist Church and Dinwiddie Diamonds. She was retired from the State Probation and Parole office after many years of service. She is survived by her son, Richard C. Eley, Jr.; daughter, April E. Barrett and husband, Thomas ; two grandchildren, Jennifer L. Lewis and James M. Lewis, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Gage M. Lewis and Brianna Hawkins; sister, Dixie Williams; devoted friend, Glen Maggard; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:oo A.M., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Kenwood United Methodist Church, 25200 Ritchie Avenue, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
