Nadine Bradner

Nadine McGhee Bradner, age 81, of Chester, VA, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 7, 2009. She was born and lived the first twenty-five years of her life in Martinsville, VA, the daughter of the late William L. and Maggie L. McGhee. Mrs. Bradner was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She often expressed that she had no regrets in life and had always felt very blessed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lance L. Bradner. She is survived by one of her sisters, Nina Arnold of Kernersville, NC; her daughter, Sydney Payne and husband, John; her son, Jeff Bradner and wife, Mary; and five loving grandsons, Brad and Nathan Payne, and Blake, Patrick and Andrew Bradner. A private cremation and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, the Crater Community Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
