Nana Brindle Woodfin

Nana Brindle Woodfin, 89 of Spring Grove, VA passed away, Wednesday, August 23, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester M. Brindle and Tedie B. Thomas; her brothers, Lollan J. Brindle, Howard D. Brindle, and Ted A. Brindle; son in law, Tas “Jeff” J. Underwood, Jr,. She is survived by her son, Earnest R. Stanley and wife Janet; daughter, Nancy L. Underwood; Step-daughter, Patricia W. Jackson and husband, Governor; 12 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; as well as, numerous extended family and friends. Nana was a past member of Claremont Baptist Church in Claremont, VA. She is a current member of New Harvest Christian Life Ministries in Surry, VA. The family will receive friends, 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA. A funeral service will be held, 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2017 at New Harvest Christian Life Ministries 68 Old Burrough Road. Surry, VA 23883. The Interment will follow in Waverly Cemetery.
