Nancy Mae Brandt

Nancy Mae Brandt, 57, of Chester, VA, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie A. and Masuko Y. Brandt; she was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Erin Leigh and Lindsey Nicole Davis; sister, Gloria J. Stark; brothers, Ronnie J. Brandt and Jacob H. Brandt; and brother-in-law, Ronald Davis.
Nancy was a devoted partner, loving mother and grandmother. She loved the beach and often loved spending time there with her family, friends, and the love of her life, Rod.
Nancy is survived by her life partner of 20 years, Rodney Davis; daughter, Rena Lauren Davis; son, RJ Davis; granddaughter, River Bell Davis; brothers, Robert L. Brandt (Tommi), Carl A. Brandt (Elizabeth), Thomas L. Brandt (Katherine), John W. Brandt (Beverly); sisters, Sandra L. Rodeback, Alice Williams (David), Rose B. Moore (Linwood); devoted friend, Darlene Kirkland Gill; brother-in-law, Dale Stark; mother-in-law or "Mee Maw," Marion Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. There will be a visitation at the chapel one-hour prior from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Interment will be private.
