Surrounded by her family, Nancy Eure Brockwell "Nana", went to her heavenly home on November 24, 2024. Born on July 28, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Minnie Eure Clarke and Thomas Preston Clarke. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Brockwell, Jr.; and brother, Eugene J. Eure. She is survived by her sons, Bruce T. Brockwell (Tammy) and Barry S. Brockwell (Melissa); and grandchildren, Will, Drew, Jack, and Carrie; and her brother, Worth Eure, Jr. (Romelle); as well as many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. She was a lifelong member of Enon Baptist Church where she held many positions. She worked at Southern States Company in the accounting department as well as Hercules, Inc. before becoming a full time mom. After 23 years of being a "stay at home mom" she returned to work holding a position at Curtis Elementary School where she spent 13 years before permanently retiring to spend time with her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring grandmother, and wonderful friend to many. She will be dearly missed, however, her family takes great comfort in knowing she's reunited with her husband "JT" in the presence of her lord and savior Jesus Christ. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Chester Baptist Church with interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church on Monday, December 2, 2024. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
