Nancy Laine

Nancy Lee Stewart Laine, born February 1, 1921 in Petersburg, Virginia died November 7, 2005. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. ?Jack? Laine, Jr. and her son, Richard G. ?Rick? Laine, III. Also preceded in death by her mother, Annie Hawkins Stewart; father, Benjamin Franklin Stewart; and sister, Emma Louise White.
Survived by daughters, Suzanna F. Riddle of Colonial Heights, Virginia. Jackie Laine Diaz of Dinwiddie, Virginia. Also survived by three granddaughters, Alicia R. Lingerfeldt of Cornelius, North Carolina; Kayla Laine Diaz and Heather Maria Diaz of Dinwiddie, Virginia. Great-grandson Austin Lingerfeldt. A brother, William H. Stewart and wife Lorene of Colonial Heights, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews; and a loving caregiver who became like a daughter to her, Dawn G. Magda.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie, Virginia.
A graveside service will be conducted at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia on Friday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary S. White officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss Funeral Home.
