Nancy Carol Linkonis

Nancy was born on August 6, 1959, in Colonial Heights, Virginia, to James Jacobs and Barbara Strader.
After taking four years of nursing school, Nancy chose to switch her career and started employment at E.I Dupont Corporation. Her career with Dupont allowed Nancy to use her creative skills in the capacity of training Dupont employees to develop their careers within the company. She retired after 20 years in 2007, and had the position of Training Supervisor.
She then started her second career helping her husband, Robert Linkonis start a credit services business. She assumed the position of Office Manager and Human Resources Director of CRA Alliant Companies Inc., dba, Credit Restoration Associates. She worked for CRA for over 10 years, and helped oversee CRA grow to a nationwide credit services organization.
Nancy retired from CRA after she was diagnosed with a degenerative form of Multiple Sclerosis.
Nancy was an incredible and beautiful person. She was very strong willed, and tough about everything. When she made her mind up on something, it was going to happen. She was also extremely sensitive about social issues and she loved animals.
She is in a much better place right now. August 7, 2024 would have been her and Robert's 20 year wedding anniversary. Nancy and Robert first started their relationship in 1999, and quickly became best friends. They did many fun things together. 5 cruises, many stays at Virginia Beach, and many visits and stays at nice places.
Nancy is survived by her direct family, husband, Robert Linkonis; mother, Barbara Strader; father, James Jacobs; sister, Doris Holder; brother-in-law, Lynn Holder.
In closing, Nancy will want you all to remember the good times and good memories of her. Let's celebrate her life by taking time to smell the roses along the way and appreciate each other and celebrate life to the fullest.
