Nancy Poole

Nancy McCaffity Poole, 64, of Stony Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Born in Beaufort County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Colombus and Oma McLawhorn McCaffity. Mrs. Poole was preceded in death by five siblings, Clyde McCaffity, Jr., Troy L. â??Johnâ? McCaffity, Joann McCaffity, Lovey E. â??Tootsieâ? McCaffity, and Bruce A. â??Tommyâ? McCaffity. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Sheets and husband, Larry of Dinwiddie, and Kim Winfield and husband, Stan of Stony Creek; siblings, Milton G. â??Peteâ? McCaffity, Lena M. â??Sissyâ? Whitehead and husband, Jerry, Willie E. â??Nukeâ? McCaffity, Billie E. McCaffity and wife, Rose, Oma M. â??Boogieâ? Chamberlain and husband, Phil, and Jackie R. â??Jackâ? McCaffity and wife, Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends and neighbors, Faye Shultz and Mary Hunt Hatcher. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 21st at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
