Nancy Pulley

Nancy Vaughan Pulley, 88, died August 2, 2011 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Born January 3, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Reba Craver Vaughan. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Pulley. Mrs. Pulley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Ivor Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pulley is survived by her children, Robert H. Pulley, Jr. and wife, Jacqueline, Jane P. Piggins and husband, Tom and Jeffrey V. Pulley and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Kay Marie Holt and husband, Jeffrey, Allison V. Pulley, Amanda E. Pulley, Julie P. Johnson and husband, Ricky, and Alex R. Cullinan; and great grandchildren, Leah, Peyton and Aiden.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Pulley Farm Family Cemetery, 10162 Doles Road, Ivor, with Rev. Chad McGinnis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ivor Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 213, Ivor, VA 23866 or to Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 228, Ivor, VA 23866.
