Nancy Ruth Stevens

Nancy Ruth Stevens, 62, of S. Chesterfield, VA passed away on June 9, 2015. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late John Washington and Ruth Odell Woodlief Cabaniss. Mrs. Stevens retired from Estes Trucking as a clerk after many years of service. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ray D. Stevens; one daughter, Jennifer Silva (Michael); a son, Brian Roy Emerson; a step-daughter, Stacy Stevens; eight grandchildren, Jared, Jordyn, Kayla, Brian Jr., Conner, Elijah, Miah and Kole; one brother, David Cabaniss; a nephew, David Cabaniss, Jr.; and many other loving extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
