Nannie Mawyer Brooks

Nannie M. Brooks, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Brooks; and son, W. Thomas Guill. She is survived by her children, Andrew T. Brooks (Del), James L. Brooks Sr., and Brenda B. Sindlinger; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harold Mawyer (Madeline). Nannie was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was retired from Reynolds Metals after 30 years of service. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Bensley Bermuda Rescue Squad, Fellowship Baptist Church, or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of J.T Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
