Nannie Hendrickson

Nannie Walker Hendrickson, 81, of Hopewell died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at her residence. She was born in South Hill, VA and had been a resident of this area for many years. Mrs. Hendrickson was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Hopewell and was a retired cafeteria worker at Hopewell High School. She will be remembered for her passion and love to cook for friends and family. Mrs. Hendrickson was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie L. & Sadie W. Walker, her husband Allen Stanley Hendrickson and a son Wayne A. Hendrickson. She is survived by a son, Douglas L. Hendrickson and his wife Nancy of Glen Allen, 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Sarah & Benjamin, Kevin and Laura, three sisters, all of South Hill, Elva W. Curtis, Barbara W. Snead and husband Gerald and Betty W. Blalock. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 1, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Nazareth Lutheran Church with the Rev. Victor Schmick officiating.
