Nannie C. Turner

Nannie C. Turner, 74, of Chester, VA, passed away February 23, 2025. Born and raised in Hampton, VA, she was the daughter to the late Garth and Blanche Conklyn.

Nannie is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Stanley G. Turner; her son, Stan A. Turner; her daughter, Lisa Daniels (Chris Piercy); her grandchildren, Sarah Dinsmore and Nylah Daniels; and her great-grandchildren, Alyanna Hicks, Elijah Hicks, and Telanya Hicks.

Nannie was a hard-working woman. She was a business owner and operation manager in her marketing career. Apart from work, she loved spending her time with her family and she loved NASCAR. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family, and she will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester. A service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Washington Memorial Park.
