Nellie Clements

Nellie Childress Clements, 90, of Spring Grove died on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman F. and Icie Dora Lackey Childress and by her husband, James Edward Clements. She was a member of Waverly Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, James P. Newcomb and wife, Carol, Doris Cox and husband, Davis, Tommy Clements and wife, Judy; her grandchildren, Scott Newcomb and wife, Michelle, Craig Newcomb and wife, Adrienne, Michael Clements and wife, Meagan and Robert Cox and wife, Emily; and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2:30 PM at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Wakefield. The family will receive friends from 2:00 â?? 2:30 PM on Friday prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Waverly Cemetery.
