Nellie Leach

Nellie Blanche Bedwell Leach, 88, of Chester, died Wednesday, June 23, after a 3 month courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Willie F. Leach, and her son, Randy E. Leach. She is survived by two sons, David F. Leach (Carol) of Powhatan, and Donald L. Leach (Shela) of Chester; two daughters, Betty L. Daley, of North Fort Myers, FL, and Dianne L. Burke (Bob) of Lake Wylie, SC. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many, many devoted friends. She was an active member of Bermuda Baptist Church and a member of TOPS VA 485, Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, June 26, at 10 a.m. Committal services will follow at 12 p.m. in the Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
