Nellie Lane Tolley

Nellie Stevens Tolley, 95, of Smithfield Ave, Hopewell, VA went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 in the Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg, VA. She was born in South Boston, VA and made her home in Hopewell, VA since 1960. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Margie Stevens and wife of the late Robert Wesley Tolley. She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Nellie is survived by one daughter, Marsha T. Carr of Hopewell and two sons, David Wesley Tolley of Charlotte, NC and Steven Lee Tolley of Williamsburg, VA, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, April 12, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Hopewell, VA, where a funeral service shall be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Kenneth Hendricks officiating. Interment will be at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George County following the funeral. The family is being served by the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Hopewell, VA.
