Nettie Norris

Nettie Rebecca â??Beckyâ? Vaughan Norris, 87, of Waverly passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Some of the places she worked for the U.S. Government were Fort Lee and Camp Pickett; her favorite places were Hawaii and Guam. Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Adams Vaughan and Eunice Mae Parrish Vaughan; her husband, William E. Norris, Jr. and her brothers, Tilman Vaughan, Percy Vaughan, Frederick Vaughan, and Isaac Vaughan.
Mrs. Norris is survived by her son, Richard E. Norris and his wife, Amanda; granddaughter, Caroline Norris; sister, Agnes Mae Sidoff and husband, Robert; sister-in-law, Virginia Vaughan and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Waverly United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Waverly Cemetery. The Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Wakefield is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
