Nicholas John Cuchara

Nicholas John Cuchara “Big Nick”, 26, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jacqueline and Edward Remillard; paternal grandparents, Julia and Dominic Cuchara. He is survived by his parents, Sue and John Cuchara; sister, Kim Treadway and husband, Jeff; brother, Jonathan Cuchara; nephews, Elijah and Gavin Treadway; grandmother by choice, Jenny Lou Winkler; maternal aunt, Nancy Dubuque and husband, Paul; maternal uncle, Steven Remillard and wife, Brenda; paternal aunts, Claudia Cuchara, Valynne McFarlane, Rona Richard and husband, Tom; paternal uncle, Tom Cuchara and wife, Lisa; as well as numerous extended family and friends. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Hopewell and graduated from Broadway Christian School. Nick was a member of the Hopewell Police Explorers, and he currently was employed as a correctional officer at Riverside Regional Jail. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Broadway Baptist Church in Hopewell. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the church. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
