Norma Uhde Blake, 97, of Waverly, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was the wife of the late William Joseph Blake. She had been a resident of Waverly since 1978 where she was a member of Waverly Baptist Church and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8171, Muskego, Wisconsin. Norma loved animals, painting and especially enjoyed flowers and everything in nature.
She is survived by her son, James W. Blake of Waverly; her nieces, Jeanette (Jeanie) Dumbauld and husband, David of Arvada, CO, Norma (Susie) Harrup of Denver, CO, Lynette (Lynnie) Bierly of Quincy, CA; and her nephew, Daniel Carpenter of Minneapolis, MN.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8171, P.O. Box 6128, Monona, WI 23716-0128. Condolences may be posted at www.jtmorriss.com .
