Norma Jean Kanak, 79, of Disputanta, passed away on Wednesday January 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Myrtle Harris Botts; husband, James D. Kanak; brother, Bill Botts. She is survived by her children, Tamie Perryman, (Eric), Sherry Dew (Jerry), Scottie Kanak (Karey); grandchildren, Matthew Webb (Noelle), Ashleigh Makovsky, Jeffrey Perryman, Amanda Shoemaker (Andrew), Sierra Kanak; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Kayden, Korbin, Harper; brother, Jerry Botts (Joan); nieces, Crystal Vineyard (Alan), Heather Thompson (Clay); nephew, Terry Botts (Debbie); great nieces, Macy, Brooklynn, Reagan, great nephew, Evan. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday January 28, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
