Norman Ervin

Norman Ralph Ervin of Chester, VA, passed away Thursday, February 18, at Chippenham hospital. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He was also a member of Chester United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nellie House Ervin; son, Ricky W. Ervin of Independence, KY; stepchildren, Joyce House Singleton; Barbara House Eudailey and husband, William of Richmond, Marion House Simpson, and husband Ted, of Petersburg, Patsy House Kahn, and husband Garland of Richmond, Stephen House, and wife, Janet, of Richmond, 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; devoted friends Catherine and J. D. Marshall. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Chester United Methodist Church with Rev. Margaret Kutz officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
