Norman Earl Scott, Sr.

Norman E. Scott, Sr., of Chester, VA, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many, joined the Lord on April 11, 2022 at the age of 89. Norman was one of five children born in Elizabeth City, NC. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ann Scott; his son, David Walter Scott, of Chesterfield; daughters, Kathryn Smith, of Chesterfield, and Deborah Daniels, of Iowa; as well as six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his son, Norman Earl Scott, Jr. The family will receive friends Friday, April 15th, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
