Olga Jacqueline â??Jackieâ? Amos, 74, of Hopewell, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Petersburg. Mrs. Amos was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Olga Anthony Sullivan, her husband, Robert Roy Amos, Jr., two sons, Dallas Amos and Terry Amos, two sisters, Ora C. McDonald and Carol L. Sullivan and two brothers, David Sullivan and Andrew Rudolph. She is survived by her children, Carol Newton and husband, David, Chris Amos and wife Lorna, Dale Amos and wife Barbara, Kenny Amos and wife Sharon, Bobby Amos and wife Dawn, Deborah Norman and husband James, Jimmy Amos, Mitchell Amos, Michael Amos, Kelley and husband Steven Harper, twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and a brother, Everett Sullivan. The family will receive friends Sunday, February, 13, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM with The Rev. Dr. Lewis Brown officiating. Interment will be in City Point National Cemetery.
