Olgia Lee Callis, 77, of Church Road, VA, widow of Willard James Callis, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019. Born in Brunswick County, VA, she was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Louise Freeman Clary; her father, Fred Davis Clary; her step-mother, Selma Clary; two sisters, Alice and Rena; and a brother, Fred, Jr. She was a longtime member of Ocran United Methodist Church and loved her family dearly. Mrs. Callis is survived by her daughter, Sandra Callis; sister, Georgia Clary; grandsons, Bryan Dance and Jacob Friel; nieces, Debbie Wood and Colleen Wagg; nephews, Clark Clary, Allen Dewberry, Jr., and Gary Painter; adopted family member, Kim Friel; and two four-legged furry children, Tinkerbell and Zara. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Ocran United Methodist Church, 20221 Cox Road, Sutherland, VA 23885. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ocran United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 309, Sutherland, VA 23885 or Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, VA 23805. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
