Olive Beryl Manion

Olive Beryl Manion, 94, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Mrs. Manion was born the daughter of the late Lewis and Beryl McClellan in Olivet, Kansas. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Dean L. Manion; and her sister, Lois Hall. Mrs. Manion is survived by her children, Gary Manion and his wife, Wanda of Maumelle, Arkansas, Dee Kauffman and her husband, Don of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Dennis Manion and his wife, Kim of Chester, Virginia; grandchildren, Todd, Shae, and Paige Manion, Kyle, Chris, and Matt Kauffman, and Michael Manion; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jayden Kauffman, and Elijah Manion; and siblings, Martha Rice, John McClellan, and Ernest McClellan; and other loving family and friends. Mrs. Manion was retired from the State of Kansas Department of Social Services. She was also a charter member of Topeka Oakland Church of the Nazarene. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Chester Outreach Church of the Nazarene, 13930 Happy Hill Road, Chester, VA 23831.
