Onola Knapp

Onola Echols Knapp of Hopewell, 100 years old, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Knapp was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered for the many years that she sold produce in the Hopewell area and for the good neighbor and friend that she was to many people. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence A. Knapp, Jr. and a son, Clarence A. Knapp, III. Mrs. Knapp is survived by a sister, Mildred Echols, a granddaughter Lillian Knapp Whitlock and her husband Kenny, three great grandchildren, Austin Lowe, Kiersten Ouber, Ashlee Whitlock,and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Knapp. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, VA. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com
