Opal Burke

Opal Stewart Burke, age 89, of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Richmond, VA, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. She was born in Pike County, KY, the daughter of the late Samuel and Emily Burke Stewart. Mrs. Burke was also preceded in death by her husband, James F. Burke. She is survived by one granddaughter, Laura J. Burke; one daughter in law, Frances Burke; nieces and nephews. A private interment of her remains will be held in Sunset Memorial Park at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
