O’Relia Sue Henshaw, 68, of Ford, VA, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center after several years of declining health. Born in Columbus, GA, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Cyril Phelps Tucker. She was saved and baptized at the Kendrick Memorial Baptist Church, Columbus, GA. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a very giving person and always thought of others first. Mrs. Henshaw is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lewis G. Henshaw; daughter, Aurelia Guastella and husband, Michael of Church Road; son, L.G. Henshaw, II of Ford; grandchildren, Korissa Marie Guastella and Anthony Michael Guastella; sister, Myrtle Ann Bailey and husband, Tony of Brooksville, FL; brothers, Jerry Tucker and wife, Rachel of Columbus, GA and Richard Tucker and wife, Carolyn of Burrowsville, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the following people and organizations for the care and support they provided during Sue’s illness: Dr. Matherlee and the staff at Stony Creek Community Health Center, the nurses and Doctors at Southside Regional Medical Center, Hospice of Virginia, Trinity United Methodist Church in Church Road, VA, Heath Marshall and staff at Sutherland Pharmacy, Joan Christian and the entire staff at Clay Home Medical. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 14th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations should be made to a charity of your choice.
