Otis Corbin Rackley

Otis Corbin Rackley, 86, formerly of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar W. and Venia Dockery Rackley; brothers, Clarence and Howard; sisters, Oma and Eleanor. Otis loved spending time with his grandsons, especially taking them fishing. He was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, and friend. Otis is survived by his wife of 23 years, Susan Rackley; stepson, Dr. Scott Asbill and his wife, Wendy; grandsons, Creighton and Hayden; sister, Edith R. Horner; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Bermuda Memorial Park 1901 Bermuda Hundred Rd, Chester VA, 23836.
