Owen Fahrney

Owen Wilson Fahrney, Jr. (Billy), born December 14, 1944, passed away November 30, 2011. He was the son of the late Owen Wilson Sr. and Gladys Emily Taylor Fahrney, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Frye and brother-in-law, John Frye of Waynesboro. Owen graduated from RPI (now VCU) and was retired from the Chesterfield County Public School system after 32 years as a music educator. He is survived by his nephews, Douglas and Nathan Frye; and niece, Sara Frye. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9th at 4 p.m. in the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be on Saturday, December 10th at 1 p.m. in the Rader Lutheran Cemetery in Timberville, Virginia.
