Prentice Albert â??P. A., Jr.â? Conley, Jr., 62, of Petersburg, VA, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 29, in Johnston-Willis Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Born in Harrisonburg, VA, he was the son of the late Prentice Albert Conley, Sr. and Hazel Price Conley. He served two years with the United States Army including a tour in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Lee Conley. Mr. Conley was retired from the Defense Distribution Depot, Richmond, VA, and retired on disability from U. S. Merchants, Prince George, VA. Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years, Bonnie Wray Conley; daughter, Kimberly G. Conley of McKenney, VA; son, Steven D. Conley of Hopewell, VA; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Conner and husband, Wayne and Cathy Lucy and husband, Charles, Jr. â??Bimboâ?; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM Monday, September 1, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 4, at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA, by Pastor Ray Haskett. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to your special charity, wherever your heart leads, or to a Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center to aid research/cure of Fibromyalgia (in honor and love for a family member).
