Pablo Torres, 79 of Chester, VA., passed away, Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Born, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Torres, Sr. and Rosa Centeno Molina.
Pablo was a longtime textile worker in the greater New York area, he was a member of IBEW Local Union #3 for 15 years. He loved to dance, he was a boxing fan and avid watcher of novelas. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ileana Torres; daughter, Ilia R. Torres-Lombard and husband, Perry; Pablo L. Torres, Jr. and wife, Maria, Laurence J. Torres and wife, Aislynn, Aris L. Torres, Marquis Torres and fiancé, Christina Montrevil; son-in-law, Felix C. Torres; grandchildren, Felix E. Torres, Alexandra L. Torres, Nick Uribe, Keila A. Torres, Yazmin L. Torres, Laurence A. Torres, Jr., Aryanna A. Torres, Branden A. Torres, Ileana C. Torres and Gustavo E. Delgado. The family will receive friends, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831, where a service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
